My name is Amelia, and I'm a self-taught artist passionate about creating kawaii-style characters. My journey into the art world began as a child when I would happily scribble for hours recreating all sorts of things from my imagination. My kawaii style has been shaped by a deep love for everything Japanese, from anime to manga and delicious snacks like strawberry Pocky! 

Each piece of art in my collection starts with thorough research into ideas and themes, drawing inspiration from the rich and whimsical world of kawaii culture. I begin with preliminary pencil sketches in my sketchbook, trying out different ideas, styles and poses for my characters. Once an idea is finalised, it is ready for the next step; I import my sketch into design software. Here I bring my creations to life by adding outlines and colour. This process allows me to infuse each piece with the vibrant, playful energy that defines kawaii art.
